November 25, 2011 from 5pm to 9pm

A brief introduction:

Hi! I'm Lisa, and I'm a writer.

In the creative realm of my life, I'm president of the Kenosha Writers' Guild, a co-founder and contributing writer for the arts related website 2nd First Look,  a board member of Southport Press, and a co-founder and editor of the shiny new Left of the Lake magazine.  I was also editor and a contributing writer for the Downtown magazine, one of the creators of the Be Exposed! performance series, and I currently freelance for Metroparent magazine and KenoWi.com.  So, yes...I'm basically addicted to artistic collaboration within many genres.

This is my friend Javier's latest project. Javier is an incredibly talented film maker, writer and musician. He also lived in Kenosha for about 25 years. Hmm...coincidence? I think not! ;) P.S.--be sure to watch the demo film!

Hi Lisa,

It was nice meeting you and the other group members. It was very interesting. I would like to come back again.

Maybe at some point iI can bring in the skeleton of the book I'm working on, as that's the stage it is at - really nothing readable, just notes and ideas and chapter headings.

Hope to see you and hear some of your work soon.

Thanks, Lisa for viewing my website and the thoughtful comment!

It is the history of experience that fascinates me. The strength, the fragility, the beauty of a variety of forms and the resilience of all that is human.

I always enjoy your writing on EK. Look forward to reading more soon! Thanks for the nice comment. It is always a risk putting one's work out there, as I'm sure you know, so support is always gratifying.
