There are so many fantastic things happening in the area that it is becoming difficult to keep up! Our artistic community is slowly turning away from its fragmented past and is evolving into (dare I say it) a movement of sorts.

The latest Racine and Vicinity art show is the most important exhibition of area artists in recent memory. While it is impossible to get ALL the horses in the same barn at the same time, this particular exhibit is as comprehensive as one could hope to assemble. The exact reason that "everyone" entered this show is unclear, and ultimately unimportant. Nosferatu was a big deal. Something very special happened on Saturday night. The fortunate folks in attendance were able to witness Kenosha's (and Racine's) entry into regional artistic relevance. The ambition of this event is almost unprecedented. Thoroughly inclusive, high quality artistic productions like Nosferatu simply don't happen very often, anywhere.
