Say what you mean...

Honest, constructive, yet thoughtful criticism is clearly missing. It is not anywhere to be found on this or any other website. After one leaves leaves college, critiques become exceedingly rare, and those that do exist generally mutate into social clubs. Fun? Yes. Helpful? No! I would like to post anonymous critiques, written by the members here that are both positive and negative. Anyone who would like to submit a critique about a show, exhibiting artist, performance, venue or whatever strikes your fancy, is invited to send me a short concise review and I will assign you a number and post your review. Your identity will be protected. Nothing personal or vicious will be posted (come now, we are all friends here) If it goes well I would suggest regular live critiques. A community cannot grow without dialog, so say what you mean, and mean what you say. Regards, AAC
